What We Believe

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, “God-breathed” Word of God and that its teaching is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20–21).

We believe one God who eternally exists in three Persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 3:16-17, 2 Corinthians 13:14).

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God incarnate, that He is fully God yet fully man (Philippians 2:6–11).

We believe that Jesus died on a cross to pay for the sins of the world. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 5:8; 1 Peter 2:24).

We believe that, after His death, Christ was buried, He rose again, ascended into heaven, and now sits at the Father’s right hand where He intercedes for believers (Hebrews 7:25).

We believe there is nothing anyone can do to earn salvation. We cannot be “good enough” to please God on our own, because we are all born sinners (Isaiah 53:6; 64:6–7; Romans 3:23). We believe we are saved by the grace of God; that is, we cannot add to or take away from Christ’s finished work on the cross as full payment for our sin (Ephesians 2:8–9)

We believe the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues. We believe it to be an experience distinct from and following salvation, empowering believers for witnessing and service. (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:6)

We believe water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. (Matthew 28:19-20)

We believe that God still heals and delivers those that are bound by sinful habits and practices. (Mark 16:17-18; 1 Peter 2:24; Isaiah 53:5)

We believe that the gifts of the Spirit (1 Cor. 12) are necessary in the church today.

We believe in the rapture, the Second Coming of the Lord. (1Thessalonians 4:17)

Who Needs To Be Saved?

We all need salvation because we have all sinned.

Romans 3:10, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one”

Romans 3:23: "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

Romans 6:23: "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Romans 10:9-10: "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

What Must I Do To Be Saved?

  • Admit that you are a sinner
  • Believe in your heart that:
    • Jesus was born of a virgin
    • Died on the cross for your sins, was buried, rose again the third day, ascended into heaven, and is preparing a place for you that where He is you may also be one day.
  • Confess your sins to Jesus
